I purchased my home in July 2025 and before closing, the seller's insurance company paid for a complete roof replacement. I trusted that the job was done thoroughly, in retrospect, I should have gotten on the roof to inspect everything myself.
A week after closing, it rained. Within days of the rain I started noticing water bubbles in the paint above my fireplace. I immediately reached out to FES, and they sent someone out the next day to inspect and reseal the flashing surrounding the chimney.
Within days of someone coming to reseal and inspect the area, it rained again. It was apparent water was still coming in. I called FES, and spoke with Leslie. He had time on his schedule to stop by that day. I received confirmation via voicemail from Leslie stating he took a look at the flashing around the chimney and nothing stood out to him, but he was having his guys come by to add a bit more sealant just to be sure. Later that day, FES came out for a second time to double check their work.
At this point I have become paranoid and want to see for myself that everything looks ok, so I got on the roof to take a look, and I’m glad I did. What I saw truly shocked me, I don’t know much about roofing but it was clear the job was not properly executed. Attached are photos taken on 7/31. Mind you, these were taken after someone from FES “resealed” and inspected the area twice. Water was clearly pooling, getting into my home, and causing damage.
When I reached back out to Leslie at FES, I provided the same photos attached here and was told that everything looked good and normal. From the few searches I did online, what I was seeing on my roof was far from good and normal. I voiced my concerns to Leslie, and then received a call from Alan.
Finally, Alan at FES assured me that the work done on my roof was not done correctly, and sent someone out as soon as the rain subsided for a couple of days to redo the entire area surrounding the chimney.
Alan was sincere with his apology, and someone came out to remedy the situation. Attached are photos taken on 8/5. I am glad FES took accountability for their mistakes and fixed the issue, but I would not recommend them for any roofing needs.

I absolutely Love our new roof and gutters! Chris spent a lot of time explaining the different brands and types of shingles and was very patient answering all my questions and concerns. We went with the Malarkey Vista shingle. I have not seen a crew work as hard as his did! It took 2 days to complete and they were meticulous on installation and clean up. AMAZING experience from start to finish!

Chris at FES Roofing is the best. A few months ago I had him come out along with my insurance damage appraiser. After looking at the roof, it was determined that I did not require a new roof at this time. Fast forward a few months - it was misting outside and when I got home I saw a turbine hah blown off my house. I called Chris, and 20 minutes later a new turbine was installed. I promise you I will use FES Roofing when it comes time for a new roof. They are the BEST!

Outstanding Experience with FES Roofing
I purchased my home in February with a roof warranty valid until May 2025. On Easter morning, after a storm, I woke up to a large leak in the bathroom. I contacted the original roofing company multiple times—they eventually came out to assess the damage and promised to fix it, but never followed through despite repeated attempts.
Frustrated, I reached out to my homeowners insurance and was given a list of roofing companies. That’s when I found FES Roofing, and I’m so glad I did.
