I definitely recommend this mechanic. They’re absolutely honest and dependable. I was having trouble starting my car and called for help. During the first visit, all diagnostic tests came back normal, so we couldn’t confirm the issue, though the starter was a possibility at the time.
When the issue came up again, she returned and ran another round of diagnostics. This time, the tests clearly showed that the alternator was losing power.
What really impressed me was that I wasn’t charged for the second diagnostic visit. She also recommended a quality replacement alternator on eBay, which was much more affordable than what the auto parts stores offered. The part was installed for a very reasonable price.
You can truly count on this mechanic to be honest, fair, and thorough. These qualities are hard to come by these days.

Stevie was wonderful with communication throughout — above and beyond, in fact, which was a breath of fresh air. Shawn did a great job, and together they make a great team.

This was one of those jobs that was supposed to be a simple rotor and pads swap, but ended up with some unexpected scope - just a truck being old - but they did the customer right. Showed me the issue with my eyes in person, explained to my satisfaction, and properly advised me to tow the vehicle to a shop with a lift. It needs more work than expected (rusted hard lines!) and they vouched for two local service shops.
I am a tough critic, and I have a lot of experience with shops as a customer shall we say. These two are a fine team and a pleasure to work with. Full marks, would recommend to friends and family, and will call them again for jobs that would fall in their scope.

Great communication. Was quoted $1,800 by another shop, had Stevens Auto come out and found out my car just needed a $200 repair. My go to mechanic from now on. Excellent Service! Very Trustworthy and knowledgeable

Very helpful and casual. Im definitely keeping their info in my phone. You pay for labor and you have to provide the parts for them. They recommend parts to get as well and will educate you on why they recommend them.. They came by late ish on a Saturday. I could see this being very helpful in case of an emergency situation. They helped me swap a part when oriellys sold me a part I couldn't use and got the correct one. Plus they caught some other issues I would need to have worked on quickly. I think they would have done the service if I had what was needed on hand. Generally, I walked away feeling more educated. Would recommend. They have a very competitive rate too. The owner,

Look no further, these are your guys.
After several bad experiences at different mechanic shops around town (hard to find someone to trust!!) I called Stevens based on a trusted recommendation. They help me order the correct pieces for my car, and once they arrived, we’re able to come to my house the next day.
They really know their stuff, are timely, and affordable. Excellent work! I’m so grateful.
I’ll be calling them for some more work soon.
