Many Thanks to Jennifer at Visiting Angels. Her “special way” with my 86 year old diabetic, strong willed Uncle worked a miracle. She was able to encourage him to allow her to assist in getting him clean! He lived on his own and found it to difficult to bathe himself as he aged and became less mobile.
I have to give a shout out to Tawny also. She cleaned up the rough stuff and saw what needed to be done and did it. Great attitude.

Once upon a time, I would have shouted from the rooftops nothing but praise on this organization, but after my most recent experience, they are not someone I would recommend for a love one. When I first called two weeks, the individual was amazing, she sent me to Generations Legal Group to get the ball rolling for care for my mom. She was kind, and very eager to offer assistance in getting my mom established for care. She was going to call around and see if there was any grants or anything available to get care started immediately while we wait on Medicaid. Fast forward to today, I called to check status on the process and was basically told they don't offer that type of assistance and that once I figure out Medicaid I could call back. I spoke with Gayle on this last call, I really feel like she would be better utilized in their collections department instead of customer service, needless to say, I called Home Helpers and they immediately started trying to help. So If you are needing home care for a loved one, I highly recommend Home Helpers and would avoid Visiting Angels because patient care is of no importance with this organization any longer.

I can't say enough about this company, I was hired to work with the owner to assist them to achieve their therapy dog program for seniors. I am blessed to have met such an amazing and dedicated professionals.

I got service from them and they said they were going to find me a caregiver but wasted over a month of having nobody to take care of me and I can barely walk but they said they couldn't find anyone because I smoke which I would go outside with the caregiver but also I have a cat. I had to call over and over and then find out through the coordinator that they dropped me. They have now put me with at least another month so three months of waiting with no care I never want this to happen to anyone

If you ever have the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ashlei Washington, you will quickly see the heart she has for service and her love for people. What an amazing human. ☺️ If you ever find yourself in need of a Home Health team for yourself or a loved one, I highly recommend Ashlei and her team at Visiting Angels!
